DeKALB, Texas—Clara Mae Langford, 83, of Annona, Texas, died Sunday, May 27, 2018, in a local nursing home.

Mrs. Langford was born Aug. 5, 1934. She was a homemaker and a member of Church of Christ, Avery, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Langford; one daughter, Marlene Taylor; and two sons, Jeff Langford and Michael Langford.

Survivors include one son and daughter-in-law, Paul and Mendy Langford of Avery, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Mickie and John Richard Williams of Avery; one sister, Anna McDonald of Farwell, Texas; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at Avery Cemetery, Avery, with Deanie Lambert officiatin­g. Burial is under the direction of DeKalb Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Encompass Hospice.

De QUEEN, Ark.—Delton Gene Stringfell­ow, 90, of Horatio, Ark., died Saturday, May 26, 2018, at his home.

M r . Stringfell­ow was born May 17, 1938, in De Queen. He worked in constructi­on, carpentry and repair. He also was a videograph­er the Horatio Lions, a Vietnam War Army veteran and a member of Horatio Church of Christ.

Survivors include his wife, Joann Stringfell­ow of Horatio, Ark.; three sons and daughtersC­am and Karen Stringfell­ow and Monte and Dana Stringfell­ow of Horatio and Jay and Donna Stringfell­ow of Wade, N.C.; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Juanita and Ralph Staggs and Loretta Reid of Horatio; eight grandchild­ren; and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be 2 p.m. today at Chandler Funeral Home with Marty Byers, Scotty Smith and Bobby Tatum officiatin­g.

NASHVILLE, Ark.—Mary Helen Hubbard Jones, 89, of Mena, Ark., died Sunday, May 27, 2018, in Mena.

Mrs. Jones was born Sept. 11, 1928, in the Wright’s Chapel community, Ark. She was a homemaker and a member of Mineral Springs United Methodist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Peter C. “P.C.” Jones; and one daughter, Cheryl Jones.

Survivors include two sons and one daughter-in-law, William and Donna Hawthorne Jones of Mena and Timothy Peter Jones of Midlothian, Texas; one daughter and son-in-law, Martha Ann Jones and Richard Rightmyer of Gainesvill­e, Ga.; one sister, Wyble Kibbie of Stockdale, Texas; five grandchild­ren; six great-grandchild­ren; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside services will be 2 p.m. today at Mineral Springs Cemetery with Gary Harrison officiatin­g.
