GOLF

Hope Coiuntry Club’s twoman scramble is June 29- July 1. The entry fee is $300 per team and the scramble will have cash prizes and closest to the hole prizes. The shootout is June 29 with sign up at 4:30 p.m. and the event is at 5:30. The shootout fee is $20 per team. FOOTBALL

The Byron Williams 24th annual football camp is June 23 at Liberty-Eylau high school. The camp is for ages 13-17 and is free. To register, visit football-minicamps. Call Kristi Kendrick for more information, 903-244-6006.

STRENGTH AND CONDITIONING

A summer strength and conditioning program will be held from June 4 through August 26 from 10-11 a.m. for incoming student-athletes (boys and girls) in grades 6-8 and from 7:30-9:30 a.m. for student-athletes incoming 9th-12th grades. The program will not be held July 2-5.

The program is free to all student-athletes and is designed to help students gain the necessary skills to better their strength, speed, agility and endurance.
