Gary Wayne Blackwell, 64, of Texarkana, Texas, died Saturday, July 7, 2018, in Texarkana.

Mr. Blackwell was born Sept. 4, 1953, in Texarkana,

Ark. He was a self-employed laborer.

Survivors in c lud e seven sisters, Barbara Blackwell, Linda Madlock, Patricia Blackwell, Felecia Bell, Sandra Runnels, Irma Blackwell and Stephanie Nelson of Texarkana; and four brothers, Clarence Blackwell of Nash, Texas, Louis Blackwell Jr. of Fort Worth, Texas, William Blackwell of Austin and Richard Blackwell of Texarkana.

Services will be 1 p.m. Friday at Whitaker Street Temple of Truth with the Revs. William Blackwell and Richard Blackwell officiating. Burial will be in Chapelwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery under direction of Jones Stuart Mortuary.

Visitation will be 5 p.m. to

7 p.m. today at the funeral home.
