DeKalb beats Linden-Kildare

DeKALB, Texas—DeKalb defeated Linden-Kildare in their volleyball season opener at home Tuesday night in four sets, 25-17, 25-16, 20-25, 25-11.

Kynli Holder led the Lady Bears with eight service points and 10 kills. Carrie Almond finished with seven service points and Evette Martinez contributed 17 assists.

DeKalb’s junior varsity squad defeated L-K in two sets, 25-17, 25-19.
