Health insurance symposium is slated for Oct. 26
Ark-La-Tex Health Network, a physician-hospital organization in Texarkana, Texas, will host its fourth annual Health Insurance Symposium from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 26 at the Texarkana Convention Center, 4610 Cowhorn Creek Road, Texarkana, Texas.
The insurance symposium is the only event of its kind in the Texarkana region that is tailored for medical office managers, billers, coders, front desk specialists, referral and authorization specialists, nurses, case managers, physicians, nurse practitioners, administrators and others.
During changing times in the health care market, the insurance symposium offers the medical community an opportunity to meet face-to-face with health insurance representatives, as well as educational presentations on a variety of health plans, plan requirements, authorizations, referrals, compliance and updates.
Attendees will hear the latest from CHRISTUS Health Plan, UnitedHealthcare Community Plan, AFMC, Cigna, Ambetter, Blue Cross Blue Shield Texas and more.
