COACH STEVE WELL’S COMMENTS: “We have some question marks within our offensive line. We have some things we need to be better at and also be a little more consistent. We move the ball at times, but we just didn’t have the consistency.
“We had too many busted plays offensively in the first half. Those are things that hopefully we can correct after we watch it on film.
“The thing I told our kids after the game was that our effort was there. I can live with the kind of effort we have. We keep playing defense like that, I know we’ll get it going offensively. We just need to believe in ourselves and believe in each other. Things will work out for us. Like I told our kids, this isn’t a dash, this is a marathon. We’ll work on getting better each week so we can add the depth we need. I think we’ll be fine before it’s all over.
“Hats off to Arkansas High. They have a very good football team.”
