COACH GERRY STANFORD’S COMMENTS: “As a coach, some of the things we’re always grading is turnover ratio, penalty ratio, points off turnovers and field position. Those are all categories we’ve got to improve on. We’ve got to win the turnover ratio, need to be on the plus-side of the penalty ratio, and can’t give up points off turnovers.
“We did those things the other night, and that’s really the name of the game against a very good team.
“The consistency offensively wasn’t there; we’ve got to finish those drives. Some other drives were killed by turnovers, and some were just killed by mistakes on us. That consistency has to increase this week against a really talented Arkansas High team.”
