- By Josh Richert Sports Editor

Perennial power Lake Hamilton swept Arkansas High, 25-10, 25-12, 25-10, Thursday at Razorback Gym.

The Lady Backs led in sets 1 and 2 early, but the Lady Wolves were able to put together long rallies to pull ahead for good. In the third set, Lake Hamilton grabbed the early momentum and never trailed, even though AHS had its longest streak in the third set.

Arkansas High forced some long rallies for a point with the Wolves, but more often then not those points went the way of the visitors on the scoreboard.

“We have to string points together and not be so up and down,” Arkansas High coach Kelsey Jackson said. “Lake Hamilton has a great squad and they’ll go far. But we have to improve going into Tuesday and become more consistent. That’s our big deal right now is consistency.”
