Voting begins today for ‘Best of 2018’ awards

Readers’ Choice Award voting kicks off today highlighted by an expanded list of categories from which to choose.

Categories and rules can be found on Page 4A and 5A inside this edition, on a facing-page display ad inside the Midweek Review and online at texarkanagazette.com.

An easy-to-find promotion on the website will lead you to the ballot, or you can go directly there by typing texarkanagazette.com/readerschoice into your web browser.

Texarkana Gazette Readers’ Choice Awards give you the chance to show support for your favorite local businesses. Plus, the list of categories has been expanded this year. If you vote for 20 or more businesses you’ll be entered into a sweepstakes and have a chance to win $250.

Voting begins today and continues through Oct. 5. Printed ballots will be published again in the Texarkana Gazette on Oct. 3 and digital ballots are always available on the Gazette website.

Today’s edition contains the categories Auto, House and Home and Personal Services. Subdivisions range far and wide from best school, law firm, tire store, bank, nail salon, furniture store, roofing company, car dealership to best tattoo artist.

You’ll also have the opportunity to chime in on the question: What’s to love about Texarkana?

Next Wednesday’s edition will contain categories for Food and Drink, Shopping and Entertainment.

Online, you can find all the categories all the time.

After the votes are tabulated, winners will be recognized in a special print and online section on Nov. 4 and first place winners will receive a Readers’ Choice plaque to display at their place of business.
