Cheers & Jeers

-

JEERS: To those people that have loaded grocery (only) carts that come to the garden centers to check out. We, that are trying to purchase garden items year around, are having to just depart without our items. Go to another store’s garden center and they have plumbing supplies to be checked out. Please, do some type of corrective action as you are losing customers and the good will of us that want garden items. I even check mine out separately. — B.B., Texarkana, Texas

CHEERS: To Democrats for taking hypocrisy to a new level. They say Brett Kavanaugh is unfit to serve on the Supreme Court because of what he may or may not have do as a teenager. However Democrats love Bill Clinton who was accused of rape as an adult in 1978 and has been accused by multiple women of unwanted fondling, groping and indecent exposure. They revere Ted Kennedy who left a woman to die after a single car wreck. And they are infatuated with Beto O Rouke who was charged with DWI and burglary. I guess a separate set of standards apply to Republicans than they do to Democrats. Nice. — L.O., Texarkana, Texas
