Razorbacks overcome Camden Fairview
Arkansas High’s offense struggled to find the end zone for much of the contest but found a way to come away with a 27-12 victory over Camden Fairview Friday night at Razorback Stadium.
The Razorbacks’ defense forced a fumble and came down with three interceptions, including two caught by Irijah Price, to remain unbeaten in Conference 5A-South play.
Along with his two picks, Price caught four passes for 83 yards and DeJordan Mask also grabbed two and finished with 22 yards for the fifth-ranked Hogs.
Quarterback Sean Foreback, who finished with 112 yards on 10-of-26 passing and one interception, and running back Tyrie Black scored both of Arkansas High’s offensive touchdowns on short runs. Torie Blair took the load for the Hogs and finished with 146 yards on 26 totes.
Shamon Smith scored the other touchdown for the Razorbacks on a fumble recovery during a kickoff and kicker Patrick Cook nailed two field goals, including 15- and 32-yarders in the first half.
