SMACKOVER 56, HORATIO 0

SMACKOVER, Ark.–The host Buckaroos jumped the Horatio Lions early and often, and never allowed them to get untracked Friday night.

Smackover scored 29 first-quarter points and that would have been more than enough on this night, but the Buckaroos kept their collective foot on the gas, scoring two more touchdowns in the second, and one in the third on their way to thoroughly thrashing the Lions, 56-0.

The Buckaroo defense had an exceptionally strong game, holding the Lions to minus 1 yards along with a turnover.

Dexter Crockett ignited the Buckaroo offense with 118 yards rushing on seven carries while Buckaroo quarterback RJ Boone went 5-6 for 82 yards with one passing TD.

The game had only one turnover.

Smackover improves to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in district while the Lions slip to 2-3, 1-1.
