Lady Backs sweep Arkadelphi­a

ARKADELPHI­A, Ark.—Ashlynn Bratton and Seaira Watson each served in 13 points, including two aces each, as North Heights’ eighth grade swept Arkadelphi­a, 25-5, 25-18.

Kynlee Garrett slapped in 11 points, including four aces, to lead the Lady Backs’ seventh to a 25-13, 25-14 win over the Lady Badgers. Jenna Dupree contribute­d eight service points.

North Heights’ eighth grade (141) plays at El Dorado today.

Pleasant Grove earns four wins

Kadie James served in 16 points to lead Pleasant Grove’s eighth grade A team to a 25-7, 25-17 sweep over Pittsburg.

Winter Crouch and Bridgette Lundy each had seven service points to propel the Lady Hawks’ eighth grade B team over the Lady Pirates, 25-18, 25-22.

Madison Carpenter had 16 service points as Pleasant Grove’s seventh grade A team swept Pittsburg, 25-7, 25-17.

Hali Hargrove served up eight points, and the Hawks won the seventh grade B match, 25-20, 25-23.

James Bowie falls to Harts Bluff

SIMMS, Texas—Madison Martin paced James Bowie’s eighth grade with 11 service points, but the Lady Pirates fell to Harts Bluff, 25-14, 25-23.

Morgan McClure had a matchhigh 16 service points, but James Bowie’s seventh grade were edged in three sets, 25-19, 21-25, 26-24.

Pewitt tops New Boston

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Paul Pewitt’s eighth grade volleyball squad defeated New Boston Monday night at Lion Gym, 25-19, 25-22, 25-21.

Makayla Jackson led the Lady Brahmas with 12 service points and Alandrea Walker led the Lady Lions with 15 service points.

Pewitt’s seventh grade team defeated New Boston, 25-21, 25-11.

Ashtyn Boyd led the Brahmas with 21 service points, while Natalie Dunn ended with eight service points for New Boston.

Redwater trumps Red Lick

REDWATER, Texas—Redwater’s eighth grade A squad defeated Red Lick in two sets, 25-12, 25-22.

Brooke Ursey led the Lady Dragons with 10 service points and Allie Smith led the Lady Mustangs with four service points.

The eighth grade B Dragons defeated the Mustangs, 25-12, 22-7.

Abby Harmon led the Dragons with 15 service points, while Stephanie Nyguen led the Mustangs with four points.

Red Lick’s seventh grade A team defeated Redwater, 22-25, 25-17, 25-14.

Shae Woolery and Molly Estes, each scored eight service points for the Dragons.

Red Lick won the first set in the seventh grade B match, 25-19, while Redwater won the second set, 15-12.

Elizabeth Hallenbeck led the

Mustangs with seven service points.

Paris Gilbert and Kaitlyn Mandarich each scored five service points for the Dragons.
