OFFENSIVE
STANDOUTS: QB Isaiah Cross completed four of 22 passes for 13 yards. RB Korbyn White rushed five times for 41 yards. RB T.J. Templeton finished
with three totes for 45 yards and a score. QB Talveyion Cooper ended with three carries for 12 yards and a touchdown for the Leopards.
DEFENSIVE STANDOUTS:
Linebackers Marzavin Riles and Damian Henderson collected 10 tackles each. DT Demetry Hunter and LB Cedric Dickerson finished with six tackles apiece for the Leopards.
COACH STEVE WELLS’
COMMENTS: “We knew going in that we were going to a have a rough non-district schedule. We didn’t play very well in the first half. We had some opportunities and didn’t take advantage of those opportunities. A good football team can make you look bad if you don’t take advantage of those opportunities.
“We have to go back and work harder this week. We have one more non-district game before we start the real season. Hopefully, we’ll do a better job this Friday night.
“We had an opportunity to have 4-5 picks in the first half, which would’ve made a big difference in the score. To be a good football team, we have to take advantage of those opportunities when they present themselves. We have a few kids that are dinged up, but hopefully we’ll have them back in the next week or two.”
