A&M-Texarkana to host OSHA safety course
Texas A&M UniversityTexarkana, along with the department of Extended Education and Community Development, will hold an OSHA construction and general industry course Nov. 6-9 at the university.
OSHA 510 Occupational and Health Standards for the Construction Industry is authorized by the Midsouth OSHA Training Institute. It will cover OSHA standards
for the construction industry found in the Code of Federal Regulations 1926, along with other relevant policies, procedures, along with safety and health principles. Special emphasis is placed on those areas that are the most hazardous and most frequently cited by OSHA. The cost of the course is $599.
