COMMENTS: “Spring Hill is a disciplined team that plays very hard. They lost by two points to both Gilmer and Liberty-Eylau.
“We need to come out from the start and dictate a physical style of play on both sides of the ball. We need to protect the ball offensively and execute some big plays in the passing game. Defensively, we need to play hard and smart and stay away from busted assignments.
“We are in a good spot. We’ve already secured the No. 1 seed for the playoffs and the district title. The way we’ve played the last five games has been very impressive. With the exception of the first half against L-E, I think we are taking steps and getting better each week. It’s a great time to be playing our best football.”
