New Boston beats Daingerfie­ld, 62-51

NEW BOSTON, Texas—Chloe Davis lit up the nets for 15 points to lead New Boston to a 62-51 win over Daingerfie­ld in a girls’ varsity basketball game on Tuesday.

Carlee Ratcliff scored 14 points for the Lady Lions.

Tia Griffin scored five points for New Boston, but the Lions’ junior varsity was edged by the Tigers, 23-22.

AVINGER, Texas—Peyton Taylor’s 13 points for McLeod wasn’t enough to withstand Avinger Tuesday night at Indians Gym.

BriAnna Young led the Lady Indians with a game-high 26 points.

AVINGER, Texas—Casey Smith’s 19 points was enough for McLeod to defeat Avinger at Indians Gym.

Trevor Deel added 12 points for the Longhorns.

Bryson Schubert led the Indians with a game-high 20 points and teammate Kelvin Salblan added 11 points.

Genoa Central 59, Bloomburg 54

BLOOMBURG, Texas—Colby Cobb’s 26 points helped propel Genoa Central over Bloomburg.

Cason Brigham collected 13 points for the Dragons.

Conner Hooker led all scorers with 35 points for the Wildcats, and teammate Seth Crumpler added nine points.
