HONORS
LaVentry Easter of Texarkana, Ark., performed in the University of Arkansas at Little Rock Department of Theatre Arts and Dance’s Dance Harvest Nov. 8-11.
Easter, a senior pursing a BFA in dance performance, choreographed and performed the piece “Confined Analog” along with eight other UALR students.
Mallory Miller, of Lockesburg, Ark., is interning with PEAK Therapy Services, an outpatient private practice clinic in De Queen, Ark., that specializes in dry needling and blood flow restriction, along with other modern treatment approaches.
Miller, a senior Exercise Science major at Southern Arkansas University, is spending this fall semester under the supervision of PEAK owners Tessa Moody and Heather Williams.
“Being able to learn specific protocols and gain experience in such crucial techniques is something that I will never be able to thank them enough for,” said Miller. “I am so blessed to have a University that is devoted to helping their students achieve experience in their desired field of study.”
