Pleasant Grove’s boys cruised past Waskom, 77-29, Tuesday at Hawk Gym.
Jared Glover ripped the cords for 16 points to pace the Hawks, and Noah Fawbush and Terrence Turner contributed 14 apiece. T’vondrick Henry added 12 points for PG, which will be back in action Thursday in the Union Grove tournament.
Hawkins 63, Hughes Springs 59
BIG SANDY, Texas—Hughes Springs furious fourth quarter rally wasn’t enough to upend Hawkins in their opening game of the Big Sandy Invitational.
Chandler King led the Mustangs with 16 points and teammate Devin Flournoy added 12 points.
Tristian Garrett led the Hawks with 15 points.
Fouke 65, Claiborne Academy 50
FOUKE, Ark.—Nick Scoggins’ 20 points and 12 rebounds helped propel Fouke over Claiborne Academy at Panther Gym Tuesday night.
Kanon Garrett and Garrison Coker each added 12 points apiece for the Panthers.
Fouke is back in action on Tuesday, traveling to Bradley.
McLeod 76, Queen City 51
MCLEOD, Texas—Trevor Deel’s 26 points was enough to help McLeod topple Queen City Tueday night.
Casey Smith added 19 points for the Longhorns and teammate Blake Williams ended with 15 points.
Ramir Rascoe led the Bulldogs with 19 points.
Caleb Dawson finished with 13 points and teammate Isaiah Stiger added 10 points.
Queen City’s junior varsity squad edged McLeod, 34-33.
Mason Teer led the Longhorns with 13 points.

ASHDOWN, Ark.—Texas High’s girls squad defeated Ashdown Tuesday at Panther Gym, 64-56.
Unique McBride led Texas High offensively with 15 points.
Amiyah Rone and Kerrighan Dunn each contributed 13 points apiece for THS, while teammate Antonia Parker added 12 points.
Adaysia Thompson led Ashdown with 25 points and teammate Kenya
Wilson added 15 points.

Pleasant Grove rolled past Mount Pleasant at Hawk Gym.
Keshawn Davis led the Lady Hawks with 16 points, Kaiya Ware added 14 and Shanequa Henry had 13.
PG won the junior varsity game, 63-16. Peyton Matthews scored 15 for Pleasant Grove, and Hallie Lipham added 11.
McLeod 35, Queen City 28
MCLEOD, Texas—Kailtyn Cross scored 11 points and Gracie Lance had 10 to help McLeod stave off Queen City and improve to 9-8.
Erica Jones and Hannah Fitts led the Lady Bulldogs with six points apiece.
The Lady Longhorn junior varsity also won, 22-10. Ella Lambeth scored 17 for McLeod.
