■ Operation Kids will participat­e in a summer food program to provide meals without charge to all children 18 years and under at Food From Heaven, 820 E. 17th St., Texarkana, Ark., from 11 a.m. to 12:15 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for lunches, and 12:30 p.m. to 1:15 p.m. Mondays through Fridays for snacks. Dates are June 3 through Aug. 13, excluding July 4.

■ Harvest Regional Food Bank is sponsoring the Summer Feeding Program for children ages 1-18. Meals will be provided from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Monday and Friday, June 3 through Aug. 9, except on July 4 and July 5. Info: 870-774-1398.

■ Eylau United Methodist Church will have its monthly food pantry for those in the Liberty-Eylau School District on the fourth Thursday of every month through October, and the third Thursday of November and December. Each person is asked to bring a valid drivers license and utility bill to confirm residence, and each family may use the pantry four times a year. Info: 903-838-8778.

■ A fundraiser for Misty Stevens Scogins will be held 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 26 at the Downtowner, 2W Avenue A, Hooks, Texas. The Downtowner offers fried fish meals as well as their whole menu, with 20% of profits donated. Donations are also accepted at First Assembly of God, P.O. Box 176, Hooks, Texas, under Scogins’ name.

■ Texarkana Arkansas Personal Responsibi­lity in Daily Efforts (PRIDE) is currently accepting donations for hygiene packs to distribute to 150 sixth graders. Packs will include full size bottles of shampoo, conditione­r, body wash, soap, and deodorant. Donations are needed by Aug. 2, and can be dropped off at TAPD, 100 N.
