“I am really excited that we have the opportunity to play some classics and NJCAA teams,” said Brad Phillips, who was hired in April to coach both squads. “This is a great opportunity for our players to grow and get exposure as we play teams in Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Texas.”
The Colts and Lady Colts will play in the Southern Shreveport Classic on Nov. 8-9, Phillips said. They also will play 10 NJCAA games in Region 2.
“During this basketball season you can expect to see both teams play extremely hard and fast. Our teams are going to include great people who are great student-athletes,” Phillips said.
Tryouts are ongoing for the Colts and Lady Colts. For information, email Phillips at bphillips@cccua.edu.
