Bethel has 41 carries for 50 yards and three scores, and Benjamin Omayebu has 25 rushes for 251 yards and three TDs. Omayebu is the leading receiver with 24 catches for 279 yards and three scores. Texas High tailback Tracy Cooper has 1,070 yards rushing and eight scores on 171 carries. COMMENTS: “Sherman’s a very capable team; they were the third playoff team from our district last year. More or less, they’ve got most of their starters back on both sides of the ball. We’ve got to go back to what we do well and focus on doing the little things right.
“There is no play call for effort. There is no scheme for effort. We’ve got to show that we want to get this done, individually and as a team.”
