JERRY CLANTON

Jerry L. Clanton 81, of Texarkana, passed away October 18, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Clanton was born to Willie Robert and Betress Estell McDougald Clanton on August 17, 1938 in Hermitage, AR. He enjoyed the outdoors, golfing, tinkering with anything mechanical, he loved his family and spending time with them. Jerry was a retired construction superintendent.

He was survived by his two daughters and sons in law, Lisa and John Taylor and Pam and Mark Allen of Texarkana; five grandchildren, Brandon and Suzanne Taylor, Chance Taylor, Molly and Chuck Cross, Garrett and Sarah Saulsbury and Genny and Cody Vaughn; eight great grandchildren, Wyatt and Emma Kate Taylor, Addison and Kingslee Cross, Eli and Jaxson Saulsbury, Kayleigh and William Henson, a close relative Carolyn McDougald Huitt of Warren, AR, one sister in law and brother in law, Shelby and Kendall Morrison of Friendship, AR.

Mr. Clanton was preceded in death by his parents Willie R. and Betress Clanton, his loving wife Mary Catherine Clanton.

Visitation will be Sunday, October 20, 2019 from 4-6 PM at Chapelwood Funeral Home, Nash, TX and graveside services will be Monday, October 21, 2019 at 1PM at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
