COACH GERRY STANFORD’S
COMMENTS: “Early on, the kids did a great job of executing the gameplan. The biggest part of the game was us just playing with great effort. Our kids did a great job of playing with great effort all game long.
“What you hope as a coach is they see the difference of great effort and not playing with that same effort. We want to continue playing at a high level, and we’re going to need our best efforts through the rest of the season. We’ve got two good teams left to play (after the bye), and we’ve got to continue to improve.”
