EMMA WILSON

Emma Mae Wilson, 5, of Texarkana, Texas formerly of Hot Springs was called home October 21, 2019 while in the loving care of Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital in St Louis, Missouri.

Born in Hot Springs on January 17, 2014, Emma was the treasured angel of Melissa Ashley and Janette Kirby. Bright blond hair crowned her head like Elsathe Frozen princess she loved. Her blue eyes would light up at the sight of any horse, big truck, or the ocean. She craved open spaces, ran and played (most often bare-footed), and was told every day how much she was loved.

Her “Mommy” Melissa Ashley and “Daddy” Janette Kirby cannot imagine a life without little “Mae” telling them of her many adventures. She was the beloved sister of Jordan Kirby, Cadin Mann, William Rivers, Arin Rivers, Jimmy Wilson, Madison Mann, Katylin Wilson and Willow Wilson. She is also survived by her grandmother, Heaven Rivers; great grandmother Jessie Ashley; Uncle Nathan Wilson; Aunts Amanda Rowden, Melinda Dixon, and Crystal Rivers; biological parents, Billy Wilson and Soundra Rivers; and many more extended family members - all of whom loved her very much.

Emma Mae was greeted in Heaven by her grandfather, Willis Wilson; great-grandfather, Jimmy Ashley; and Uncle James Rivers.

A Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2019 from 4 to 6 pm at Gross Funeral Home. A Funeral Service on Monday, October 28, 2019 will begin at 10 am also at Gross Funeral Home.
