ROBERT LOONEY

Robert Allan Looney passed away from this life on Monday, October 28, 2019, at the age of 31. He was born on June 1, 1988, in Texarkana, TX.

Rob was a loving and caring young man with a large heart and a desire to always try to help others. He loved the outdoors and especially enjoyed duck and turkey hunting, but his primary enjoyment in life was when he was able to spend time with his family. He was particularly empathetic with others and seemed to have a 6th sense with them.

In his younger years, he was always a lively, happy, and upbeat person and always a joy to be with. As time went on, he became increasingly weighted down with the cloud of personal internal struggle and uncertainty. Through this all, he never stopped trying to keep moving towards the horizon and always did his best to cross the bridge.

He will always be remembered with the utmost love and admiration from his mother and father, Lisa and Mark Looney and his brother and sister-in-law and niece, Malorie and Russ Looney and Marni.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Joey and Russ Looney and Liz and Bobby Cox, and his beloved dog, Cooper.

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 30, 2019, at the Cabe Center of First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, AR.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, October 31, 2019, at First United Methodist Church, Texarkana, AR, with the Rev. Jaimie Alexander officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Texas.
