UA’s Lady Razorbacks take three of four in fall jamboree
The University of Arkansas Lady Razorbacks won three of their four games this weekend in a fall jamboree at Bramlett Field in Spring Lake Park.
In high-scoring games Saturday, the Razorbacks swept a doubleheader against Louisiana Tech, 7-6 and 9-7.0
Pitching dominated Sunday’s games as Arkansas defeated Texas A&M Commerce, 3-1, in eight innings before being defeated by Stephen F. Austin, 1-0.
“We really enjoyed our weekend here,” Arkansas head coach Courtney Deifel said. “We had some great games during a great weekend of softball.”
“We learned a lot about our team this weekend,” Deifel added. “We have a lot of things to take back home and work on. We knew we’d have trouble scoring runs Sunday as the pitching would be really good.”

It remained tied until Arkansas threatened in the sixth.
