COACH JOSH GIBSON’S COMMENTS: “Having eight different kids score a touchdown is pretty cool. Things like that are the coolest school records; not when one kid does it, but when many kids do it. And that is how our team is. We have a lot of unselfish guys that don’t hang their heads when they aren’t getting as many touches as they’d like. They are happy for their teammates. The more guys we have carrying our offense, the harder we are to stop.

“Our guys heated up pretty quickly in this cold weather. A lot of the guys aren’t wearing sleeves. They enjoy it. We talk about it and any weather is Pleasant Grove weather. If it is raining, our offense is built to run in the rain. If it’s cold, our kids are built to get a mental edge. I think they like it. They like playing in different elements. We get to play football together, and it’s fun.”
