CLAY SATTERFIELD

Clay Randall Satterfield, age 24, of DeKalb, unexpectedly passed from this world to the next on Saturday, November 23, 2019.

Clay was born on November 29, 1994 and was preceded in death by grandfathers Harlan W. Hall and Jodie L. Satterfield, as well as father, Willie R. Wolfe.

He is survived by daughters, Randi Elaine Satterfield and Kennedy Rain Satterfield; sisters, Cassie Satterfield and Staci Wells; parents, Randy Satterfield and Jane Hall; step-mother Christy Proctor Satterfield, grandmothers, Marjorie Hall and Dorothy Satterfield; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, step-siblings, and friends.

During his short stay with us, Clay deeply affected the lives he touched. Undoubtedly, he will be remembered mostly for his unique ability to make each of us feel important and to make us laugh regardless of the situation. Clay was always a person of extremes, never lukewarm. He lived large and loved deeply.

Clay enjoyed many things in life: music and drums, big trucks and fast cars, Monsters and memes, motorcycles and guns; but mostly, Clay was all about his friends. He was loyal and true to a fault, and could not love any other way. His generous spirit and his hearty laughter will be sorely missed by all that were lucky enough to be in his circle of family and friends.

Services will be 1:30 P.M. Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas with Bro. Rocky Dodson officiating. Interment will follow at Woodmen Cemetery in De Kalb, Texas.

Visitation will be held 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. Saturday, November 30, 2019 at Bates Family Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas.
