Ray Harp Jewelers was established in 1953 by Ray and Doris Harp. Originally in Hughes Springs, Texas, the Harps moved the business to Atlanta in the summer of 1965. It was here that the business thrived and grew with the addition of the Harps’ daughter, Donna and her husband, David Head, along with their son Jon in January of 1974. David was instrumental in helping Ray with repairs and sales. It was during this time that Ray focused on becoming Atlanta’s Diamond Store. The Harps’ family grew in 1994 with Jon’s marriage to Tamy. In 1997, Ray and Doris retired, and David and Donna purchased the business. Jon worked alongside his parents, eventually becoming a graduate gemologist, now having over 30 years of experience on the workbench. 60 years after establishing Ray Harp Jewelers, Ray and Doris passed away in the spring of 2013. The Second, Third, and Fourth generations of the Harp’s business continues with the same service and integrity the customers have learned to trust. As of 2020, Jon and Tamy will be purchasing the business. They hope to continue to serve in this family tradition started by Ray and Doris back in 1953.
Fit Family Nutrition
Fit Family Nutrition is located in the small town of Atlanta, Texas. Nestled into one of the quaint downtown buildings, they serve as a home for Herbalift Nutrition. They offer a plethora of meal replacement shakes and herbal tea combinations. The nutrition club opened its doors in 2016 and has been serving Cass County since then.

I have been in the floral business for 8 years now, this business is actually what introduced me to my amazing husband of seven years. Scott Carter is the manager of Hanner Funeral Service, so being that I married into the funeral business I knew that with prayer and patience my dream would surely become a blessing and I would have my own flower shop one day. Here I am now with my blessing at hand and I can not give enough praise to the most high. Here at Atlanta Floral and Gifts we are very dedicated and take pride in the hard work we put forth into serving the needs of our customers. We specialize in all holidays, birthdays, funerals, and even “just because” gifts. We also do tuxedo fittings for special occasions such as weddings and proms.
