The 49ers are making their seventh appearance and have enjoyed the highest winning percentage of any team that has reached the game more than twice, winning in their first five appearances before losing in 2012
to the Baltimore Ravens.

Pop stars Jennifer Lopez and Shakira will perform in their first Super Bowl halftime show. Before this, Gloria Estefan and
Enrique Iglesias were the only Latin artists to perform in
the halftime show.

Demi Lovato, a former Disney Channel star best known for her songs “Heart Attack” and “Cool for the Summer,” will sing the National Anthem.
