Texarkana Mardi Gras begins at 8:30 a.m. with a 5K run. There’s a children’s parade begins at Front Street, with local children having the chance to bring bikes, trikes, wagons and Power Wheels decked out in Disney decor for the Disneythemed parade. A kid’s carnival, gumbo cook-off, Roaring ’20s parade, and vendor booths are also available.
