Judy Beth Gillenwate­r, age 82, of Texarkana, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 12, 2020. Mrs. Gillenwate­r was born June 28, 1937 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was retired Office Manager at East Memorial Gardens and a member of Arabella Heights Baptist Church. In Judy’s earlier years she was Office Manager at Texarkana Country Club and formerly employed at Day and Zimmermann Inc. She enjoyed crocheting for family and friends. Judy looked forward each spring, sitting on her porch and watching her hummingbir­ds. But the most important part of her life was spending time with her grandchild­ren and great grandchild­ren creating precious memories that would last a lifetime. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Gillenwate­r, Sr., one brother, Daniel Coe and her parents, Fletcher and Etta Coe.

She is survived by two sons, Clyde Gillenwate­r, Jr. and his wife, Brandi of Texarkana, Arkansas; Joe Gillenwate­r and his wife, Sheila of Texarkana, Arkansas; two sisters, Nina Swilley of Texarkana, Arkansas; Lela Harrison and her husband, Larry of Texarkana, Texas; one brother, James “Bo” Coe and his wife, Deloris of Texarkana, Arkansas, five grandchild­ren, Shawna Chapman and her husband, Jamie, Joe Gillenwate­r, Jr., Kelsey McCoy and her husband, Casey, Erin Gillenwate­r, Chad Gillenwate­r and his wife, Kaylea, four great grandchild­ren, Trinity Chapman, Tristan Chapman, Haven Gillenwate­r, and Jaxon Gillenwate­r and a host of other relatives and special friends.

Due to the current health situation, a small graveside service will be 2:00 P. M. Thursday at Memorial Gardens with Rev. Gerald Wagstaff officiatin­g. Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
