HELEN HILTON

Helen Raney Hilton, age 78, of New Boston, Texas, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 22nd, 2020, in a local Memory Care Facility.

Helen was born May 18th, 1942, in New Boston, Texas to Jimmy and Odell Raney. Her life was a living testimony of God’s love and amazing grace. She loved helping the local spiritual community, people of all ages, especially children, and sharing the Gospel. She formerly owned and operated The Gift Box for 40 years while also sharing her many talents as a master cake decorator and talented hardworking entrepreneur. She loved flowers, singing and playing a good practical joke on occasion. Most of all, she loved her Daddy, children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and brothers, Wilson, Alfred and Sidney Raney.

She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Randy and Robin Hilton of Texarkana, Texas; one daughter and sonin-law, Tena and Louis Coe of Sheridan, Wyoming; one sister and brother-in-law Debbie and Ronnie Barfield of New Boston, Texas; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Helen’s family would like to give special thanks to all caregivers, doctors and nurses who assisted with her care and friends who looked after and helped her during this life transition.

Come and go visitation will be Monday, May 25th, 2020, from 12:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at East Funeral HomeMoores Lane in Texarkana, Texas.

Graveside services will be 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 26th, 2020, at Magnolia Cemetery in New Boston, Texas, with pastors Jerry Monholland and Shaun George officiating.
