GLEN RAGLAND

Glen Edward Ragland, age 83, of Naples, Texas, passed away Monday, June 15, 2020 at his home. Glen was born November 16, 1936 in Naples, Texas to Desota Marshall Ragland and Beulah Lamaster Ragland.

Glen was a member at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples, where he served as deacon and church leader for many years. He retired from Day and Zimmermann where he was a Quality Control Supervisor. Glen was a United States Air Force Veteran. He served on the board of directors for the Springhill Cemetery Association, Morris County Farm Bureau, and Bowie Cass Electric Cooperative. Glen was also a rancher and farmer. He enjoyed camping, fishing, and going to antique car shows. Glen loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Glen was preceded in death by his wife, Wanda Ragland; his parents; and one son, Bo Ragland.

Survivors include one son and two daughters-in-law, Alan and Jan Ragland of Naples, and Darla Ragland of Naples; two sisters, Mary Minton of Naples and Virginia Mullins of Naples; five grandchildren, Matt Ragland and wife Dee, Jessica Ragland; Jo Ragland and Chad Suttles, Chase Ragland, and Shelby Ragland; four great-grandchildren, Millie Ragland, Miles Ragland, Cooper Suttles, and Charli Suttles; and numerous other relatives and friends.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at Harrison Funeral Home in Naples, Texas. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, June 18, 2020 at Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church in Naples with Bro. Mark Mills and Bro. Ricky Knight officiating. Interment will follow at Springhill Cemetery in Naples.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Daniels Chapel Congregational Methodist Church or the Springhill Cemetery Association.
