God’s laws

-

TO THE EDITOR:

God’s laws have been adopted in some form by America and all other countries. Because all men are fallen, these laws and others must be enforced to provide order and stability. Law enforcement officers and officials are governing authorities (Romans 13:1), and this authority is from God. Scripture says, “The one who resists the authority is opposing God’s command, and those who oppose it will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers are not a terror to good conduct, but to bad” (Romans 13:2-3). When someone resists arrest by running, fighting, etc., they are opposing God and exercising ‘bad’ conduct, and opposing laws against resisting arrest.

Though imperfect, law enforcement officers are ministers of God and carry a sword for that purpose. Recently a man resisted arrest and an unintended consequence resulted (death/God’s judgment). Although the first cause was lawbreaking, the response has been stealing, burning, murder, property destruction, unholy demands, and community disruption which some foolishly call good. We should not be focusing on race but on all men for all men have Adam as our original father; we all are of the same human race, all lives matter. We should not legitimize the insanity of God-opposers, rabble-rousers or cultural Marxists (media included) who have targeted America for evil purposes and blame law enforcement, when it’s their own hearts that need reformation.

Cultural Marxism is a true threat organized to shut out truth and justice, denying free speech, shaping public opinion to jettison our laws, values, beliefs and government. It’s time for discernment and facts, not the false narrative of the media. Jesus Christ has brought a New Covenant of hope, and therein is our answer for all peoples.
