ROGER BOOTH
Roger Winston Booth, age 73, of Texarkana, Arkansas, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, June 25, 2020. Heaven is rejoicing with his coming!
Roger was born November 11, 1946, in Texarkana, Texas and was a lifetime resident of Texarkana, Arkansas. Roger loved the Lord, his family, and his friends. He was always ready for a fun time and a memory maker. Roger was a lifetime member of Beech Street First Baptist Church. Roger served as a deacon with a big heart and a commitment to help in many areas of the church. Roger founded and operated Booth Electronics for 30 years. He enjoyed his retirement years and he was known to say, “Every day is a Saturday for me, except Sunday. On Sunday, I go to church and the paper is bigger.” He was so much fun to be around and spent lots of his time helping others. Roger will be missed dearly by his family, many friends, and acquaintances.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Maxine Booth.
Roger leaves behind his wife, Judy, and their children Jeremy Booth and his wife Kristyn Booth of Austin, Texas, and Nicole (Booth) and her husband Hugh Jarratt, residents of Fayetteville, AR. They have four grandchildren, Clay and Ava Booth, and McCall and Bo Jarratt. Roger is survived by his older sister, Sue Ellen Booth Burns and her husband Robert Burke Burns of Texarkana, Arkansas and one aunt, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of his life will be held Saturday, June 27th at 11:30 A. M. at Beech Street First Baptist Church with Rev. Chad Hughes officiating. Burial will be at East Memorial Gardens Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.
For those who cannot attend the service, it will be livestreamed on the Beech Street First Baptist Church Facebook page as well as their website: beechstreetfbc.org.
The family will receive friends at the church Saturday from 10:30 A.M. until service time. His body can be viewed at the funeral home from 10 A.M.- 7 P.M. Friday.

Mr. Reginald “Big Reggie” Bernard Ware, Jr., 29, of Wake Village, Texas was born December 16, 1990 in Texarkana, Texas to Reginald Bernard Ware, Sr. and Sharon Kay Chatman Ware. He entered into eternal life June 20, 2020. He was a member of Prosperity Baptist Church where he was baptized at an early age. He graduated from Texas High School in 2009 and was awarded an Athletic Scholarship to Langston University in Langston, OK. Later Reginald worked very hard to achieve new positions at Graphic Packaging International, Inc. in Domino, TX where he worked and labored for eight years.
Despite his short time on earth, he was an amazing father, son, brother, grandson, uncle and friend. He was deeply loved and brought immense joy to those around him. Reginald loved playing and spending time with his boys, and fishing with his grandpa. The love he had for his family and cars was endless.
He was preceded in death by: one son, Ryan Ware; grandparents, Egar and Evelyn Ware and great grandmother, Clote Houff.
Reginald leaves to love him forever, Sons: Rayden (Ray) Ware, Rylan Ware, and Reginald Ware III all of Texarkana. Parents: Reginald and Sharon Ware of Wake Village, TX. Sisters: Lakendra Washington of Prosper, TX and Delicia Lyons of Gulfport, MS. Grandparents: James and Annie Chatman, Texarkana, TX. Nieces: Kendall Washington and Keely Washington both of Prosper, TX. A number of other relatives and friends.
Visitation hours will be Friday, June 26, 2020 from 4:00-6:00 P.M. at Lyles Funeral Home, Inc.
A graveside celebration of Reginald’s life will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 27, 2020 at Chapelwood Memorial Garden with Pastor David Hardy as the eulogist. Interment will follow in Chapelwood Memorial Garden under the direction of Lyles Funeral Home, Inc.
