Mr. William David Barnes, age 78, of Genoa, Arkansas, died Friday, July 3, 2020, at his residence.

Mr. Barnes was born February 19, 1942, in Doddridge, Arkansas, and had lived all of his life in Miller County, Arkansas. He was retired after 44 years with Burhman Pharr Hardware, was a cattle farmer, and was a Baptist. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edd and Bertha Sams Barnes, his brother, Charles Edward Barnes, his sister, Dorothy Smith, and his wife of 53 years, Joyce Ann Robertson Barnes.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Teresa and Dale Reed of Genoa, Arkansas, two sons and daughters-inlaw, Eddy and Kim Barnes of Texarkana, Texas, and Tony and Ashley Barnes of Genoa, Arkansas, seven grandchild­ren, Amanda Reed, Austin Reed (Sarai), Kaiden Barnes, Case Barnes, Keegan Haas (Kevi), Jessica Haas Dodd (Tyson), and Shelby Kennedy, one great-grandchild, Paisley Reed, and a special friend, Wanda Adcock.

Graveside services will be at 10:00 A. M. Wednesday at Cedar Grove Cemetery with Pastor Donnie Edwards and Rev. Charles Bell officiatin­g. Burial will be under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.

He can be viewed at the funeral home from 9:00 A. M. until 7:00 P. M. Tuesday.
