CECELIA SOPER

Cecelia Marie Soper, age 69 of Texarkana, Arkansas went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Thursday, July 9th, 2020 surrounded by her family.

Mrs. Soper was born December 4th, 1950 in Nashville, Arkansas. She was retired office manager for her husband’s business Soper Physical Therapy and a member of the Seventh Day Baptist Church in Texarkana, Arkansas. She enjoyed listening to her four boys singing, cutting up and telling jokes. She also enjoyed crossword puzzles and reading. But the most important thing in her life was spending time with her family, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She also enjoyed spending weekends and holidays at her cabin on Little Missouri River creating memories that would last a lifetime. She was preceded in death by her special sister Patricia “Tante” Worley Jordan.

She is survived by her husband of thirty-seven years, Mynor Soper II of Texarkana, Arkansas; four sons, Jason Walz and his wife Robin of Texarkana, Texas; Eric Walz and his wife Katie of Texarkana, Texas; Mynor Soper III and his wife Jinny of Texarkana, Arkansas; Evan Soper and his significant other, Alicia Barnett of Texarkana, Arkansas; three brothers; James Gorden Worley, Thomas Edward Worley and Timothy Worley; Nine grandchildren, two great grandchildren and a host of friends and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be 2p.m. Sunday, July 12th, 2020 at Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas with Pastor Dan Richards officiating. Burial will be at Rondo Memorial Park. The service will be livestreamed.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6pm to 8pm.
