Arkansas High announces 2020 honors graduates
Jada Catherine Lloyd is the daughter of Harold and Annie Catherine Lloyd of Texarkana, Arkansas. She is the Valedictorian of the Class of 2020 and is graduating Summa Cum Laude. She was an AP Scholar, UAHT Hope for Success Scholar, and a member of Arkansas High School Varsity Cheer, National Honor Society, Interact, Youth to Leaders, and Texarkana College Talent Search. Jada plans to attend Southern Arkansas University.
Olivia Ifeoma Abadom is the daughter of Prince Chief Kpajie Anthony Abadom and Princess Lolo Franca Abadom of Texarkana, Texas. Olivia is the Salutatorian of the Class of 2020 and is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She was an AP Scholar, and a member of the Arkansas High School Ladyback Soccer team, National Honor Society, NIKE, and Quiz Bowl. Olivia plans to attend the University of North Texas.
Blaine Daniel Martin is the son of Brandi and Bo Martin. Blaine is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors from Arkansas High and the Arkansas School for Mathematics, Science, and the Arts, and was recently awarded the Arkansas Governor’s Scholarship. He represented Arkansas High School and ASMSA at Boys State. He was Student Body Historian, Quiz Bowl Captain, Vice President for Arkansas Model United
Nations, Captain of the Tennis Team, parliamentarian of Interact club, student ambassadors, Human Rights Club, French Club, National Honor Society, and was a National Language Initiative for Youth Scholarship recipient. Blaine plans to attend Tulane University.
Adison Glenn Cummings is the son of Darren and Cindi Cummings. Adison is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors and an AP Capstone Diploma. He represented Arkansas High School at Boys State and Today’s Youth Tomorrow’s Leaders. He was a member of Interact, Quizbowl, History Club, National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Students, Student Council, Youth 2 Leaders, a mentor in PRIDE Academy, and part of the Razorback TV News Team. Adison plans to attend University of Arkansas, Little Rock.
Dakota Le-Ann Young is the daughter of Myron and Carol Young. Dakota is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors and an AP Capstone Diploma. She was a member of Student Council, History Cl ub, HOSA, Interact, NIKE, and National Honor Society. Dakota plans to attend the University of Arkansas Hope-Texarkana.
Cekel Cemario Rogers Jr. is the son of Kimberly and Cekel Rogers Sr. Cekel is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. He was a member of Quiz Bowl. Cekel plans to attend University of Arkansas, Little Rock.
Chloe Elisabeth Keahey is the daughter of Laura Keahey and Christopher Brian Keahey. Chloe is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She represented Arkansas High School at Arkansas Governor’s School and was a member of Arkansas High Band, National Honor Society, and Quiz Bowl. Chloe plans to attend University of Arkansas, Little Rock.
Elizabeth Gracie Pendergraft is the daughter of Wes and Sancha Pendergraft. Gracie is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors and was the recipient of the 50th Girl Award. She represented Arkansas High at Girls State, was awarded Miss Arkansas High 2020, and Maid of Honor for the Homecoming Court. She was a member of Interact, All-Region Choir, National Honor Society, Redline Captain, NIKE president, and Razorback TV Student of the Year. Gracie plans to attend UAHT, and eventually the University of Arkansas.
Breunna Elaine Geiger is the daughter of Ivorie and Larry Clardy. Breunna is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She was a member of Student Council, HOSA, Interact, Youth to Leaders, PRIDE Academy, and Medical Mentoring. Breunna plans to attend Henderson State University.
Ion Lisnic Sanders is the son of Alan and Tatiana Sanders. Ion is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. He was a member of the National Honor Society and volunteered at his home church, Highland Park Baptist Church. Ion plans to attend Texas A&M Texarkana.
Kaytlyn Nicole Knudtson is the daughter of Natasha Robinette and Chris Knudtson. Kaytlyn is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She was a member of NIKE, National Honor Society, and Interact. Kaytlyn plans to attend Texas A&M Texarkana.
Nayeli VasquezBarrios is the daughter of Luis and Claudia Vasquez. Nayeli is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She was a member of National Honor Society, Ladyback soccer, HOSA, and the Medical Mentoring program. Nayeli plans to attend UAHT.
Tiraja Bonet Nicole Woods is the daughter of Ebony Hickman and Cortney Woods of Hope, Arkansas. Tiraja represented Arkansas High as a delegate to Girls State and was recruited to return as a counselor this year. She was a member of FBLA President, National Honor Society, Interact, HOSA, Medical Mentoring, FCCLA, NIKE, and served as class treasurer. Tiraja plans to attend UAHT.
Courtney Dianne Coker is the daughter of Monty and Wendy Coker. Courtney is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She represented Arkansas High as a delegate to Girls State, was a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, History Club, and Arkansas High Orchestra. She was a member of the Girl Scouts of America for 12 years. Courtney plans to attend University of Arkansas Little Rock.
Adelia Kasey Coleman is the daughter of Matt and Samantha Coleman and the late Krissy Coleman. Adelia is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She represented Arkansas High at Arkansas Governor’s School and Girls State. She was a member of Quiz Bowl, History Club, Interact, and Art Club. Adelia plans to attend University of Arkansas Little Rock.
Kaylee Nicole Stine is the daughter of Jay and Angie Stine. Kaylee is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She represented Arkansas High at Girls State. She was a member of the Varsity Ladyback Soccer, FCCLA, and National Honor Society. Kaylee plans to attend SAU.
Dalen Blake Villa is the son of Debbie Villa and the late Kevin Galberth. Dalen is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors and was the recipient of the 50th Boy Award. He was a member of History Club, and is most proud of earning the Community Service Learning credit in high school. Dalen plans to attend UAHT.
Laney Elizabeth Smith is the daughter of Brooke Smith and Josh Smith. Laney is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She was a member of Fellowship of Christian Students, History Club, and National Honor Society. Laney plans to attend UAHT.
Charleigh Jo Wren is the daughter of Jamie and Dwayne Jones and Bryan Wren. Charleigh is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She represented Arkansas High at Girls State, and was a member of the AHS Bowling team, Tennis team, National Honor Society, NIKE, and Student Council. Charleigh was also a member of the Razorback TV staff and yearbook staff. Charleigh plans to attend UAHT.
Keshaun D’paul Cornelius is the son of Donna and Randy Cornelius. Keshaun is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. He represented Arkansas High at Boys State, and was a member of FCS, FCCLA, FBLA, Interact, National Honor Society, HOSA, and was Student Council President. He was recognized as one of Texarkana’s Outstanding Young Men. Keshaun plans to attend UAHT and eventually the University of Arkansas.
Michaha Ann Moore is the daughter of Shaylan and Michael Moore. Michaha is graduating with
Summa Cum Laude honors. She was a member of FBLA, NIKE, and HOSA. Michaha plans to attend Harding University.
Shelby Grace Robinson is the daughter of David and Jordan Hagood. Shelby is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She was a member of the AHS Art Club, NIKE, HOSA, Student Council, and Ladyback Softball and Volleyball.
Shelby plans to attend UAHT.
Broderick Earl Walton Jr. is the son of Broderick Walton Sr. and Renettia Keel. Broderick is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. He represented Arkansas High at Boys State and Arkansas Governor’s School. He was recognized as one of Texarkana’s Outstanding Young Men. He was a member of the Arkansas High Soccer team, Interact, Quiz Bowl, Student Council, and was senior vice-president. Broderick plans to enlist in the U.S. Navy and eventually attend the University of Arkansas.
Taylor Leigh Wilkerson is the daughter of Tiffany Tate of Texarkana and Jermaine Wilkerson of Pine Bluff. Taylor is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She was a member of Interact, National Honor Society, the AHS Tennis team, was a student athletic trainer, and a mentor in the PRIDE Academy. Taylor plans to attend Arkansas Tech.
Maria Fernanda Galvan Labrada is the daughter of Pedro Galvan and Nancy Labrada. Maria is graduating with Summa Cum Laude honors. She National Honor Society, Student Council, FCS, Interact, FFA, Quiz Bowl, NIKE, and was senior class president. Maria plans to attend UAHT.
