HAROLD ROBINSON

Mr. Lester Harold Robinson, age 90, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Saturday, July 25, 2020, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

M r . Robinson was born July 19, 1930, in Doddridge, Arkansas and had lived all of his life in Miller County, Arkansas. He was a member of Highland Church of Christ and was a retired officer with the Texarkana Arkansas Police Department. His number one priority was his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, Kathryn Diane Robinson, his parents, William Kermit and Clessie Robinson, one sister, Joy Elaine Acker, and one brother, Billy Robinson.

Survivors include his wife of 71 years, Wanda Westbrook Robinson of Texarkana, Arkansas, one daughter and son-in-law, Karen and Stephen Johnson of Texarkana, Arkansas, one son and daughter-in-law, Lester H. Robinson Jr. and his wife Terrie of Elm Grove, Louisiana, seven grandchildren, Kris Robinson, Lester H. Robinson, III (Trey), Scott Meshell, Klancy Barlow, Keely Johnson, Spencer Johnson, and Eva Kathryn Johnson, and six great-grandchildren.

A celebration of his life will be at 1:00 P. M. Monday at the Texarkana Funeral Home Arkansas Chapel with Chris Hooten and Andrew Whitehouse officiating. Burial will be at Memorial Gardens Cemetery.

The family would like to express their appreciation to his caregiver, Twinisha Harbin, his nurses, Kim, Latrece, and Emma, and to Hospice of Texarkana.
