PATSY PARKER

Patsy Clark Parker passed away Saturday, July 25, 2020 at her home in DeKalb, Texas. She was 77.

Patsy was born January 5, 1943, in DeKalb, Texas, to Lanan Vernon Clark, Sr. and Ethel Pauline Beard Clark. On August 15, 1958, she was married to W.L. Parker in DeKalb, Texas. She was a retired co-owner of Parker’s Automotive in DeKalb, Texas and owner of Patsy’s Beauty Shop. She was a member of Big Woods Community Church in DeKalb, Texas.

She is preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Lanan Clark, Jr.

She is survived by her husband, W.L. Parker of DeKalb, Texas; a daughter and son-inlaw, Vickie Pynes Lewis and Jerry Lewis of DeKalb, Texas; a son and daughter-in-law, Russell and Cristie Parker of DeKalb, Texas; a grandson and his wife, Joshua and Brittany May of DeKalb, Texas; a granddaughter, Bailey Parker of Texarkana, Arkansas; three great grandchildren, Mason May, Payten May and Grayson Parker; three brothers and two sisters-in-law, Gary and Vonda Clark of DeKalb, Texas and Keith and Deann Clark of De Kalb, Texas and Terry Clark of Idabel, Oklahoma; a sister, Wanda Bishop of DeKalb, Texas; brothers-in-law, Travis and Rex Parker of Queen City, Texas; sisters-in-law, Alice Barentine of Queen City, Texas and Sue Huemmer of Dallas, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and a special friend, Ann Williams.

Graveside services will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 27, 2020 at Woodmen Cemetery in DeKalb, Texas with Bro. Billy Hooker officiating. Services are under the direction of Bates Family Funeral Home in DeKalb, Texas.
