AHS football tickets not being sold at gate this year
TEXARKANA, Ark. — Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, Arkansas High School football season tickets will not be sold at the gate on Friday nights. According to the Texarkana Arkansas School District’s website, season tickets will be sold on a first come, first serve basis at Razorback Stadium Home Ticket Booths.
They are $6 per ticket, and there are no refunds. They will be sold at the following times:
Returning Season Ticket Holders
■ Sept. 8: 8:30 a.m .to 1 p.m and 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
■ Sept. 9: 8:30 a.m .to 1 p.m and 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
New Season Ticket Holders
■ Sept. 10: 8:30 a.m .to 1 p.m and
2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
■ Sept. 11: 8:30 a.m .to 1 p.m and 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
General admission home tickets are also $6 each, with no refunds. They will be sold at the same ticket booth at the following times, during the week of a game: ■ Wednesday: Noon to 4:30 p.m. ■ Thursday: Noon to 4:30 p.m. ■ Friday: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Due to Social distancing state guidelines, only even row tickets will be sold this season.
There will be no online ticket sales. “Razorback Stadium seats approximately 7,400 attendees,” said Athletics Secretary Shelly Rhinehart. “In an effort to maintain social distancing and meet guidelines set by the Office of the Governor and the Arkansas Activities Association the stadium will be seating at approximately 50% capacity.”
Sub-varsity tickets will be sold on game night at the stadium.
