COACH’S COMMENTS: Liberty-Eylau’s Dewaski Davis— “They will be a little different, plus they’re from the Metroplex. Looking at film of them, kids change numbers and change positions, things like that. It’s one of those charter schools, where they’re in and out, so to speak. They have some talented to kids across the board, that we need to be aware of. They also play extremely hard.”

“The physicality of how we play, may be a problem for them, if we’re able to impose our will on them.”

“Offensively, we want to get rolling a little earlier Our gameplan is to wear people down eventually. I preach all the time that the last six minutes in the game is when you want to turn the tide.”

“It’ll be Senior Night for us, so it’s always good to get a win on Senior Night. Hopefully, that’ll bring some intensity for us. We also want to make sure we clean up some areas on all three phases of the game. We just want to get better and position ourselves for district.”

“We’re having Senior Night a little early this year, so we can make sure we get it in. We want to recognize our seniors because last year their seasons ended so quickly in the Spring. Just in case, we want to make sure they’re recognized.”
