ALEXIS PREE

-

Alexis Marie Pree, aka “Pree”, “Bug” or “Lulu”, was born November 4, 2000 in Texarkana, Texas to Joni Jackson and William Pree. At a young age, Alexis accepted Christ as her Lord and Savior and was baptized at the Prosperity Baptist Church in New Boston, Texas.

As a baby and toddler, “Bug” was so joyous to be around— so energetic with a huge personality and a smile that could brighten anyone’s day.

Alexis was very active in sports. Basketball, cheer, volleyball and track were her favorites. She attended New Boston High School where she was involved in programs such as HOSA and the CNA program. She passed and earned her certificate as a Certified Nurses Aid at the age of 17. She would go on to graduate and earn her diploma in 2019.

Just before mid-night Thursday, September 17th, it all came to an end and the good Lord called her home.

“Pree” left behind an army of people to cherish her loving memory: her parents, Joni Jackson and William Pree; her only maternal sibling, Eugene House, V of New Boston, Texas; maternal grandparents, Curtis, Sr. and Arlene Jackson of New Boston, Texas; paternal grandparents, James and Deborah Pree of Texarkana, Texas; maternal aunts and uncles, Curtis Jackson, Jr. (Tsion), Tina Jackson and Tony Rivera of Memphis, Tennessee; paternal aunt and uncle, Tamaron Smith and Corey PRee of Texarkana, Texas; very special cousin, Dylan Jackson; and a host of other cousins and relatives. She also leaves to mourn her very special friends Naiyma and Kariyma Box, Candace Lightsey, the Culbert family (Khristianna), Aariana Johnson, Krista Gaines and Ashlee & Alexius Brown.
