Ms. Mary E. Patterson passed on the evening of September 18, 2020 after a brave battle with Cancer. She was 63 years of age. Ms. Mary was born July 20, 1957 to Bobby Patterson and Mae Bell Leggiton, in Wilton, Arkansas. Mary graduated from Arkansas High School, where she received her formal education.

She accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of College Hill Missionary Baptist Church, who truly loved the Lord.

For nearly 40 years she was employed at La Casa Rosa Restaurant. Ms. Mary was a dear friend to Kathy and her family and to the La Casa Rosa family for many years. During that time, she was once mentioned in the Texarkana Gazette for her hard work and dedication and later retired.

She was known for her smile, laugh, personalit­y, being life of the party and most importantl­y, her love and care for others. Mary loved her family dearly. Even though she didn’t have any children of her own, her nieces and nephews were treated like her own.

Mary was truly blessed. She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Patterson: her mother, Mae Bell Moore, and two brothers, Ricky Leggiton and Bobby Leggiton.

Ms. Patterson leaves to cherish her memories, her sisters, Joyce Moore, Maudie Williams, Janet Leggiton, and Lisa Leggiton all of Texarkana, Arkansas; her brothers, Larry Moore and Jamie Leggiton, both of Dallas, Texas. Special loved nephew, William White, Jr. of Texarkana, Arkansas. She also leaves to cherish her memories several nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Graveside Services will be held at 12:00pm, October 3, 2020 at Fairhaven Cemetery with Rev. Terry Williams, Eulogist under the direction of Jones-Stuart Mortuary.
