Anna Elise Gerber, age 22, of Texarkana, Arkansas, died Friday, October 9, 2020 in a Houston, Texas hospital surrounded by her family.

Anna was born May 7, 1998 in Burleson, Texas, and lived in Texarkana most of her life. She was an amazing mother and intelligen­t student. She was a graduate from Liberty Eylau High School in 2016. Then she attended the University of Arkansas at Monticello, receiving her Bachelor’s Degree of Arts in Music. She was pursuing her Master’s Degree of Arts in Teaching as she loved the developmen­t of children. She was a member of the Chamber Choir and Wind Ensemble while attending college. She was also a sister of the Tri Sigma ΣΣΣ sorority and a faithful member of Everett Baptist Church. Anna was a very talented person who was gifted with a beautiful voice and playing the French Horn. She was a very devoted and loving mother to her daughter, Alaina, and a great friend to many.

She is survived by her fiancé, Agustin “A. J.” Garcia of Texarkana, Arkansas; her daughter, Alaina Rose Garcia of Texarkana, Arkansas; her mother and father, Tara and Gary Jeans of Texarkana, Arkansas; two brothers, Joseph Gerber of Texarkana, Texas; Noah Vian of Texarkana, Arkansas; one sister, Stacie Norton of Texarkana, Arkansas; her grandparen­ts, Pam and Bill Carter of Texarkana, Arkansas; Ralph Carter, Sr. of Texarkana, Texas; her great grandmothe­r, Evelyn Stevens of Hooks, Texas; aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends and other relatives.

Funeral Services will be at 12:00 Noon Saturday, October 17, 2020 at First Baptist Church Hooks, with Rev. Roy Ford officiatin­g. Burial will be in Everett Cemetery under the direction of Texarkana Funeral Home, Arkansas.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 P. M.
