LINDA LOU MCKINNIE

Linda Lou McKinnie of De Kalb, Texas passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 after a lengthy illness. She was 80.

Linda was born September 18, 1940 in De Kalb, Texas (Spring Hill Community) to Alvin J. and Wilma Haddock McIntosh. She was a retired Meat Market Assistant and a member of Austin Chapel Missionary Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James O. “Brute” McKinnie; four brothers; and two sisters.

She is survived by two sons and one daughter-in-law, Taylor and Lea Anna McKinnie of De Kalb, Texas and Stan McKinnie of De Kalb, Texas; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Butch and Becky McIntosh of De Kalb, Texas and Dan and Leona McIntosh of New Boston, Texas; one brother-in-law and sister-in-law, John and Kathy McKinnie of Texarkana, Texas; three grandchildren, Madison and Garrison McKinnie of De Kalb, Texas and Jessica Smith of Ashdown, Arkansas; one great grandchild, Dayce Smith of Ashdown, Arkansas; and numerous other family members and friends.

Graveside services will be 3:00 PM Sunday, October 18, 2020 at Woodmen Cemetery Pavilion in De Kalb, Texas with Robby Bates and Rev. Rod Jackson officiating.

Mrs. McKinnie will lie in state 10:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M. Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Bates Family Funeral Home in De Kalb, Texas.

Linda L. Blaylock, born August 12, 1953, passed October 7, 2020.

Ethan Clay Dycus, 52, of Texarkana, AR. passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2020. He was born on March 2, 1968 in Garland, TX. Past manager of Skate America. He loved spending most weekends on Lake Greeson at Kirby Land ing . Manager of Shooters Sports Bar and owner of Hi-Tex computer repair.

Preceded in death by his mother Maxine Teague Dycus.

Survived by his father Gerald Dycus of Texarkana; two aunts Barbara Gray and Dianne Lemons of Texarkana.

Funeral service will be 10:00 A.M. Monday, October 19, 2020 at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane with Rev. John Webb officiating.

Family will receive friends from 9:00 A.M. to 10:00 A.M. Monday prior to the service.

Open come and go visitation will be Sunday from 11:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M at East Funeral Home-Moores Lane.

Timothy Leon Fultz, 65, of Fouke, AR. passed away on October 14, 2020 at his home. He was born on January 17, 1955 in Texarkana, TX. Services are pending with East Funeral Home-Downtown.
