Texarkana woman charged with soliciting murder, sexual assault
LINDEN, Texas — A Texarkana woman is facing charges of solicitation to commit murder and sexual assault in Cass County in connection with her work as a mental health services provider.
Nacia Rene Randle, 42, of Texarkana, Texas, was arrested last week on the charges, according to Cass County District Attorney Courtney Shelton. Randle, a mental health specialist with Community Healthcore, allegedly preyed on two men who were referred to her as a condition of probation.
Both men were assigned to a specialized caseload with the Cass County Community Supervision and Corrections Department that required their compliance with mental health appointments and any prescribed medications.
Randle allegedly engaged in sexual contact with the men in violation of Texas law which prohibits mental health providers from having sex with patients or former patients. According to Shelton, Community Healthcore has placed Randle on administrative leave.
“Both of the victims expressed that Randle was controlling and that they only continued the relationship due to a fear she would retaliate and cause their probation to be revoked,” Shelton said. “One of the victims also stated that Randle solicited him to kill the other victim because he had hurt her. These claims were substantiated with digital evidence found on the victim’s electronics.”
Randle is currently being held in the Cass County jail. Bail is set at $250,000 for solicitation to commit murder and $100,000 on each of two counts of sexual assault for a total of $450,000.
Each of the three felony charges is punishable by two to 20 years in prison.
