ARKANSAS HIGH’S BARRY NORTON: “Hot Springs is a big, physical ballclub. They’re got big running backs, big wideouts. They can cause a lot of problems for us defensively, if we don’t get the run stopped. They’re going to try to pound the football; even from a spread formation, they’re a run first football team.

“Defensively, they play lots of man coverage. We’re going to have to work to get some balance in our offense, with the run and pass, and make sure we’re where we need to be. If we do that, we’ll have a chance. It’s the same recipe for us every week; if we can stop the run and control the pass, and stay balanced offensively and score when we get opportunities, it’s a winning formula for us.

“It’s going to be a tough, physical, four-quarter ballgame.”
